
Ingredients
- 200g self-raising flour, sifted
- 1 tbsp caster sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 25g butter, melted
- 200ml milk
Serve with anything you like! If you want your pancakes to be extra-American, you could add maple syrup and bacon.
Instruction
- Prepare and weigh all the ingredients listed above.
- In a large bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together.
- Create a well in the centre of the dry ingredients and add the milk, eggs and melted butter.
- Whisk together until the batter is smooth.
- Heat a large frying pan with a knob of butter and once the pan is heated, pour some of the batter in the frying pan to make a small circle.
- Once small bubbles start to appear on the surface flip the pancake over and cook on the other side until golden brown.
- Flip the pancake over on the other side and cook for another minute.
- Repeat until the batter is used.
