Crepe Recipe

CREPES

Makes 15 crepes

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 300g plain flour, sifted
  • 200ml milk
  • A drop of dark rum

Can serve with anything you like!

Instructions

  1. Prepare all the ingredients listed above.
  2. Put the flour in a large bowl, then add the eggs.
  3. Whisk the ingredients together and add the milk a bit at a time until the batter is smooth. If the batter is still not smooth after 200ml, keep adding milk.
  4. Add a drop of rum.
  5. Heat a large frying pan with a knob of butter and once the butter is melted add some of the mixture using a ladle.
  6. After a minute or so you should be able to lift the side of the pancake. Once you can do this, flip the pancake over. Cook until the pancake is golden.
  7. Repeat with the rest of the batter.
